WP Woo Experts is a small WordPress shop that’s run more events than it’s launched. We made Stay & Play because the tool we needed didn’t exist.
Origin
It started with a Hajj operator and a 600-row spreadsheet.
Late 2023. A Pakistan-based Hajj operator was running the Makkah-Madinah-Makkah loop for 600 pilgrims off a Google Sheet and a Stripe payment link. They asked us to build “a custom booking form for our website.” We started; we hit the limits of every plugin in the WordPress repo by week two.
Multi-leg trips weren’t a category that existed. Group payments meant Venmo links and screenshots. The receipts changed when the admin edited the event. We built the missing primitives, shipped them for that one operator, then realised every event-travel business we’d ever worked with had the same problems. Stay & Play was born from that realisation.
